eSourcing Expert - Your next role at Mars?

Reporting to the eSourcing Lead for our Global Services division, the eSourcing Expert for the LATAM region drives procurement excellence across global segments by delivering commercial eSourcing services (eRFX, eAuctions) and leading the automation and digitization of sourcing processes within the eSourcing Team. Serving as the primary partner for the Buying Community, this role actively promotes eSourcing solutions and continuously implements system, training, and reporting enhancements to align with strategic compliance and efficiency goals. Additionally, the role is vital in driving continuous improvement, managing key projects, and supporting the Line Manager in setting team priorities and accelerating automated workflows.

This is a Hybrid role based out of Guararema, BR or Querétaro, MX.

In this key role, you will work on...

Strategic Sourcing Enablement & eAuctions

• eSourcing Consultancy: Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) and go-to consultant for buyers and requisitioners, offering expert guidance, troubleshooting, and strategic advice on the eSourcing journey.

• Event Orchestration: Partner with buyers to prepare, execute, and monitor sourcing events, streamlining supplier communication and offering hands-on operational support during complex tenders.

• eAuction Strategy & Execution: Design, conduct, and supervise strategic eAuctions, analyzing outcomes to maximize commercial results and drive savings for the organization.

• Commercial Insights: Design and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to deliver regular commercial insights and reporting to leadership, while handling ad-hoc analytics requests.

Digital Innovation, Automation & Data Governance

• Process Automation: Identify operational inefficiencies and proactively build digital workflows, templates, or automation scripts (e.g., bots/RPA) to streamline routine tasks and optimize CoE efficiency.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive process optimization across different procurement segments, leveraging modern digital tools to simplify ways of working.

• System & Data Integrity: Manage eSourcing platform configurations, administrative tags, and user permissions with strict due diligence to preserve data health and platform security.

• Channel Management: Monitor the shared eSourcing mailbox, ensuring high-quality, professional SLA response times and accurate audit trails.

Stakeholder Management & Project Leadership

• Strategic Partnership: Manage key relationships across the business, partnering closely with CoE Directors, Sourcing Champions, the eSourcing Community, and the Commercial Leadership Team (MCS LT).

• Project Coordination & Product Ownership: Act as a pseudo-Product Owner, assisting the Line Manager in defining team priorities, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and executing critical ad-hoc projects.

• Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate deeply with procurement stakeholders to translate complex business needs into scalable, tech-driven eSourcing solutions.

You?

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business Management, Supply Chain, IT, Mathematics, or related analytical Science disciplines. 

• 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, or an Analytical/IT role.

• Solid understanding of procurement fundamentals, commercial best practices, and functional eSourcing competencies. 

• Hands-on experience with eSourcing platforms is highly preferred (Keelvar/Scanmarket/Coupa is a strong asset). 

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, formulas, Power Query) with a proven comfort in analysing complex data sets quickly. 

• Strong ability to track data with due diligence and deliver dashboard reporting (Power BI experience is a strong asset). 

• Full professional proficiency in English is required; additional regional language skills (Spanish/Portuguese) are highly preferred.
