Responsibilities
Define reliable test protocols for incoming materials/resins/products and material experimentation; Perform testing on various instrumentation including FTIR, DSC, TGA, Instron, injection molding, etc.; Analyze and write accurate lab reports based on gathered data, including charts and pictures; Develop and implementation of new test methods for material characterization; Serve as technical liaison between ORBIS cross-functional teams and suppliers for joint development opportunities related to materials; Plan and carry out project responsibility with limited direction; Guide and support other lab personnel in lab, as needed; Provide technical guidance to engineering, manufacturing, and other internal/external customers, as needed; Engage employees in continuous quality process improvement activities.
