Responsibilities
Own the monthly close for prepaids, AP, accruals, and PPE including journal entries and variance analysis; Review IT and R&D contracts to determine appropriate accounting treatment; Maintain accurate prepaid schedules and roll-forwards; Lead the AP/accrual process including completeness reviews and cutoff analysis; Oversee the PPE subledger for capital additions, depreciation, and physical asset counts; Partner with AP Manager to reconcile balances across US and international teams; Support external audit by preparing schedules and resolving requests; Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems.
