Develop new technologies and concepts through mechanical design engineering; Define and develop MV switchgear integrated solutions including layout and structural concepts; Translate application requirements into integrated system concepts and standardized product platforms; Ensure proper integration of electrical equipment into mechanical design; Evaluate alternative design approaches considering performance, cost, and manufacturability; Execute engineering tasks within Global and location centric R&D projects; Participate in feasibility studies, simulations, and concept assessments; Develop, modify, and maintain mechanical designs, models, and drawings using CAD tools; Define and support prototype manufacturing, participate in testing campaigns, measurements, and validation activities; Collaborate with global technology teams, regional engineering, and stakeholders; Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
