Responsibilities
Manage assigned claims caseload of low to moderate complexity damages; Partner with vendors and internal/external partners to facilitate resolution; Investigate claim damages via research and identify subrogation potential; Determine coverage and create SIU referrals when appropriate; Negotiate claim settlements; Coordinate with management for guidance on settlements outside authority limits; Maintain accurate claim file documentation; Apply knowledge of estimating technology and virtual inspection tools; Address jurisdictional challenges and legislation; Support workload surges and catastrophe (CAT) response operations including travel.
