What We’re Looking For:

A dependable and detail-oriented Wash Person who ensures all linens, towels, and uniforms are cleaned to Loews’ high standards. You’ll operate commercial laundry equipment, monitor wash cycles, and maintain a safe, efficient work environment—supporting the seamless delivery of fresh, clean items for guests and team members.

What You’ll Do:

• Sort linens, towels, and uniforms by type and degree of soil; check for stains and damage.

• Operate washers, dryers, and extractors according to established procedures; monitor water temperature, chemical levels, and cycle times.

• Apply stain-removal techniques and rewash items as needed; ensure proper chemical usage per SDS guidelines.

• Inspect finished items for cleanliness and quality; route to folding or pressing stations.

• Follow all safety protocols including PPE use, chemical handling, and ergonomic lifting techniques.

• Conduct routine checks on laundry equipment; report malfunctions promptly to Engineering or Laundry Manager.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry area; ensure floors are dry and hazard-free.

• Track loads processed and chemical usage; maintain accurate logs in property systems.

• Assist with linen counts and inventory reconciliation; report shortages or excesses.

• Support uniform and linen rotation schedules to meet operational needs.

Other Responsibilities:

• Preserve the livelihood and reputation of the property by complying with legal policies and requirements.

• Regularly lift 50 pounds; bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and walk; stand for extended periods.

• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.

• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.

• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications Include:

• Previous experience in laundry operations preferred; hospitality environment a plus.

• Knowledge of commercial laundry equipment and chemical safety procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and property systems for logging tasks.

• High level of integrity, reliability, and discretion.
