Responsibilities
Lead by example regarding Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental protection; Analyze cost reports and review project status for invoicing, WIP, cost, profitability, and cash flow; Directly responsible for monthly close cycle including project review, cost accruals, margin analysis, and income statement review; Prepare projects/segment monthly income statement; Set up and maintain projects on an in-house accounting system according to contract terms; Review project contracts and additional service requests to understand financial requirements; Track and input budget/cost/revenue data for assigned projects; Ensure projects are reasonable and recognize revenue using the POC method per IFRS standards; Code vendor A/P invoices for assigned service lines; Assist in preparation of annual service line budget; Maintain digital project accounting files.
