Responsibilities
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, product quality, reliability, capacity, and cost performance; Conduct technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and process simulations to identify improvement opportunities; Support product commercialization by evaluating process capability and manufacturing readiness; Develop and modify process methods and operating controls to meet product quality and production objectives; Recommend and implement process improvements, modifications, and standardization initiatives across manufacturing sites; Review product development requirements and evaluate compatibility with existing manufacturing processes, identifying required equipment, costs, schedules, and process changes; Participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), HAZOP studies, Management of Change (MOC), and other process safety activities; Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and provide technical recommendations to improve plant performance; Develop engineering documentation, design standards, and best practices to improve consistency across the manufacturing network; Coordinate with external engineering firms, contractors, and equipment vendors as required
