Responsibilities
Create and maintain internal documents for labor and processes related to Internal Logistics; Identify, lead, and implement continuous improvement projects; Interact with manufacturing, material handling, engineering, and packaging to develop Material Flow requirements; Design workstation layouts that offer most efficient work-cycle for operators; Lead, mentor, and develop junior engineers; Evaluate dock utilization and calculate cubic storage space requirements; Recommend Material Flow equipment; Update project schedules and global KPI data; Support production area with problem identification and countermeasure development; Manage supplier quality by reviewing manufacturing processes and evaluating supplier performance; Analyze quality and warranty data to identify root causes and drive corrective actions; Support new model launches by evaluating design changes and improving tooling and processes; Troubleshoot production, tooling, and quality concerns and monitor process controls
