Responsibilities
Design and implement new communication systems on fiber optic cable and/or standard CAT cabling; Create and maintain GIS information, system design, and provisioning records; Plan, develop, and deliver detailed engineering packages to support skilled craftsmen; Perform onsite or desktop surveys and prepare documentation packets including floor layouts and schematic drawings; Support DIS, Facilities, Electrical contractors, and Project Managers; Execute fire and safety network designs and enterprise intercom/overhead paging installations; Manage installation of conduit, risers, cable trays, and ensure compliance with applicable codes.
