Perform advanced dressing care, suctioning, and removal of Foley catheters and peripheral IVs; obtain blood specimens via venipuncture; assist with infant/pediatric formula preparation; document patient care and condition changes; provide one-to-one patient safety watch; process and transport specimens; perform point-of-care testing and instrument maintenance; assist with patient ADLs and hygiene; coordinate patient transport for tests; serve as a preceptor for new staff; process admissions, transfers, and discharges; communicate with food services for diet orders; assist with medication and blood product transport; support quality rounds and drills.
