Responsibilities
Provide critical care transport until patient care is relinquished to an accepting medical facility, maintain patient care documentation in electronic medical records, maintain competency in knowledge and psychomotor skills through ongoing clinical experiences, maintain Pennsylvania Department of Health medical command status, acquire FP-C credential within one year of hire if not previously certified, maintain and organize equipment and supplies in Life Flight helicopters and bases, assist the pilot as needed, participate in preflight briefings and post-flight debriefings, act as preceptor for new employees and students, identify processes that could lead to errors or adverse events
