Responsibilities
Ensure correct orders are obtained and patients are properly identified and prepared for exams; Utilize appropriate imaging protocols while optimizing technical factors and maximizing patient safety; Prepare and administer medications through vascular access sites as prescribed; Evaluate images for proper positioning and acceptable technical quality; Educate and monitor students and other healthcare providers; Assist licensed practitioners with specialized radiologic procedures in various clinical settings (OR, Endoscopy, ICU).
