Responsibilities
Develop and implement lean manufacturing processes focused on quality, cost, and delivery; Create machining processes for complex components with tight tolerances using CAD/CAM tools; Select cutting tools, design fixtures, and produce shop documentation; Support APQP activities including DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and MSA studies; Lead and support process improvement projects, ensuring minimal downtime in the machine shop; Review engineering drawings for manufacturability and recommend design changes to enhance productivity and standardisation; Provide technical support to Moog's supply chain to ensure quality, cost, and delivery expectations are met; Mentor and support Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians in tooling, gauging, and fixture design
