Responsibilities
Pre-trip inspection of ready-mix truck pursuant to D.O.T. regulations; Fill water tank before each delivery; Drive or back truck under plant to charge mixer and receive concrete; Safely drive truck to jobsite and arrive with desired slump; Maneuver truck safely on unstable ground conditions; Add ingredients such as fibers, chemicals, foam admixtures, cements, or integral colors; Place chutes for discharge and wash them after use; Complete paperwork and collect cash COD prior to leaving jobsite; Wash truck with hose and brush at end of shift; Communicate with dispatch via radio and signaling system; Perform post-trip inspection pursuant to DOT regulations; Call schedule for start time each day
