Our Department
The Biophysics and Process Analytics team is part of Analytical Development- Cell and Gene Therapies responsible for a range of activities focused on biophysical studies for cell and gene therapy projects (lentiviral vectors, AAV, RNA-LNP), emerging technology exploration and investigations and process analytical technologies. Our responsibilities include interfacing with discovery groups, scouting, exploration and implementation of novel analytical technologies and analytical support for process development.
Job description:
We are looking for a motivated person who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team. She/he will be managing, designing and executing biochemistry and biophysics experiments and analyzing biochemical and biophysical data. The ideal candidate is science minded, flexible and dynamic in approaches and has a proven theoretical and experimental track record in the field of bioanalytics with comprehensive hands-on experience with a full range of Mass Spectrometry applications including Intact mass, peptide mapping, glycan analysis. Experience with LVV, RNA, AAV and/or adenovectors is desirable. Hands on experience with Waters and/or Thermo MS systems is a must. Furthermore, the applicant should possess good theoretical knowledge and experimental experience with general analytical and biophysics techniques. Further responsibilities include instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, written reporting and oral presentations in various settings. The candidate is expected to have an inclusive and collaborative spirit and work in line with colleagues from within the group and outside departments.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
MSc with 4+ years relevant experience in analytical development and proven track record in mass spectrometry and biophysics.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
€53 500,00 - €85 445,00
