Own cost- and inventory-related month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis; Analyze and explain manufacturing variances (materials, labor, overhead, purchase price) and translate findings into actions; Support accurate inventory valuation and controls including physical counts and cycle counts; Partner cross-functionally to identify cost-saving opportunities and strengthen processes; Drive continuous improvement using automation and AI to simplify reporting and improve controls; Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
