Set up and operate machines on trial runs and production, calculate and set controls to supervise machines, confirm accuracy of setups using test pieces, study blueprints and drawings to resolve dimensions, observe machine operation to detect malfunctions, troubleshoot work-related problems, use SAP system to track production data, measure and count materials to monitor quality and volume, clean scale or scrap from dies, grind out burrs and sharp edges
