Responsibilities
Ensure timely and within budget completion of assigned projects; Generate URS, FRS, equipment, and system specifications; Support commissioning and validation of automated systems; Review and approve design documents and submittals; Assure compliance with State, Federal, and local codes (environmental, FDA, OSHA); Support Site Data Historian and SCADA applications; Integrate Manufacturing Devices with MES applications; Direct and coordinate vendor activities; Prepare Risk and Safety Assessments; Develop bid packages and select contractors; Support ongoing efficiency improvements of plant-wide automation systems; Develop local technical staff to support automation systems.
