Responsibilities
Meet with Plant Manager weekly to review schedules and discuss tooling/parts requirements; Handle traditional management duties while actively contributing to day-to-day team work; Review daily production schedules and work responsibilities to ensure seamless manufacturing; Organize and schedule jobs on a priority basis including capital, aftermarket, and warranty work; Monitor workflow to ensure daily production schedules are met; Conduct design reviews on orders/projects before production release; Ensure change part information is correctly filled out and routed to the Machine File; Provide feedback regarding engineering, manufacturing, and routing problems; Manage, review, and approve engineering changes in the ERP system; Maintain safety and cleanliness of the work area; Work with aftermarket parts team and LCM to answer customer requests and support field installations; Track material stock and hardware for assembling change parts.
