Responsibilities
Plan and optimize data center white space including rack placement, airflow containment, and power layout; Develop and refine design standards and Basis of Design documents; Oversee low-voltage structured cabling designs for high-performance environments; Review site layouts and fit-out proposals to ensure alignment with standards; Partner with multidisciplinary teams (MEP, network, compute) to integrate systems; Lead project coordination and provide direction to contractors and vendors; Manage planning, schedules, and budgets for high-impact initiatives; Support on-site validation, commissioning, and incident investigations; Drive creation of global infrastructure standards and policies; Research new materials and engineering approaches; Support automation efforts by translating design data into digital systems; Provide thought leadership, training, and mentoring to the team.
