Responsibilities
Set up and run production equipment according to standard operating procedures; troubleshoot equipment, device, and product issues; monitor and adjust production processes to support quality and productivity; inspect output for quality and customer specification compliance; maintain job material inventory; read and interpret product drawings and specifications; verify correct entry of ticket information into computer systems; provide production and changeover updates to shift supervisors; write work orders and update shift journals; establish or adjust work methods to meet production schedules; plan and support product changeovers and equipment setup; select proper tooling and fixtures; set up and verify safety equipment; recommend improvements to production methods and equipment performance; train operators as needed; measure and record operating data; assist engineers with developing, building, or testing prototypes and new processes; participate in preventive maintenance, MMOL, 5S, and Kaizen activities; follow environmental management procedures.
