Responsibilities
Lead team in supporting sustainment strategies for cloud computing deployments; advise on architectural design and engineering of cloud solutions; document cloud architecture, deployment, implementation, installation, and configuration details; install and configure hardware and software supporting cloud technologies; test new cloud technology releases in pre-production lab environments; recommend and carry out upgrades in pre-production and production environments; establish standard configurations and maintain patching and platform versions; deliver 24x7 technical support; support IAVA, STIG, and other DoD policy requirements including RA and RMF; create and maintain architecture diagrams, network boundary diagrams, and installation configuration guides; coordinate and collaborate closely with team members; engage with subcontractors, vendors, and government stakeholders; influence project and team leaders on solution design; provide Tier 3 engineering support for production help desk issues; drive key project and program deliverables.
