Mexico, Mexico City💼 Full-time🗓 2026-07-31 → 2026-08-01

Testing and Optimization Specialist

Are you passionate about using data and experimentation to improve how customers experience our digital journey? Do you combine technical skill with critical thinking? If so, we want to meet you.

The Optimization and Personalization team within the Digital Experience Strategy & Optimization team at TR drives meaningful customer experiences through rigorous experimentation and personalization. Our work is foundational to TR's strategic investment in eCommerce and digital capability—turning data and insights into experiences that matter

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Testing and Optimization Specialist, you will be the execution engine for our testing program—translating strategy into high-quality test plans that generate real business insights.

Specifically, you will:

Test Planning & Execution

• Partner with Sr. Manager of Digital Optimization, Digital Product Managers, web UX designers, and other optimization team members to translate testing strategy into detailed, specification-ready test plans
• Define test mechanics—what will be tested, how variations will differ, which audiences are included, and what success looks like
• Build and configure Adobe Target experiences with precision, including targeting logic, traffic allocation, and tracking parameters
• Validate measurement design—confirm that KPIs are properly instrumented in Adobe Analytics and will actually capture what matters
• Develop test variations working closely with designers and developers, ensuring variations accurately test the intended hypothesis
• Own test operations within our established processes—execute Development and/or QA validation handoffs, actively monitor test performance and flag issues, drive tests through launch and closure, and hold to sprint timelines and SLAs
• Configure analytical dashboards in Adobe Analytics to monitor test performance and enable real-time visibility into results

Quality Assurance & Partnership

• Conduct pre-test analysis using Adobe Analytics to establish baselines and inform test calibration
• Build and document test plans— clearly capture aligned hypothesis, specify measurement parameters and KPI tracking, and ensure alignment between strategy and execution
• Identify and surface execution considerations early (traffic volume, audience overlap, measurement gaps, test conflicts) so they can be addressed before launch
• Maintain clear documentation so test logic is transparent and results can be reliably interpreted
• Work closely with the Sr Manager of Optimization to ensure test plans align with strategy and measurement is sound

Learning & Communication

• Document test results, and support post-test analysis and results interpretation
• Support Learning Repository updates and stakeholder shake-outs as needed

About You

You're a fit for this role if your background includes:

Required Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience executing web testing using Adobe Target or an equivalent platform (e.g., Optimizely, Visual Web Optimizer, etc) —you've built and troubleshot A/B tests, multivariate tests, and segment-based experiences at scale
• Hands-on experience with web analytical tools such as Adobe Analytics—you can navigate dashboards, understand event tracking, build custom segments, and interpret test results reliably
• Front-end development background with working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—you understand how variations are built and can communicate technical requirements clearly to developers
• Strong understanding of testing methodology including statistical significance, sample sizing, and test duration—you know why these details matter

Required Soft Skills

• Analytical and data-driven mindset—you think critically about problem statements and measurement design; you ask clarifying questions when something seems unclear
• Accountability and ownership—you track details meticulously and own test quality end-to-end; you escalate blockers rather than letting them slide
• Cross-functional collaboration—you partner effectively with Product Managers, UX, Development, and Analytics teams; you communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences
• Proactive problem-solving—you anticipate issues, surface them early, and propose solutions rather than waiting to be told what to do
• Attention to detail and organizational skill—you manage multiple concurrent tests, maintain clear documentation, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
• Intellectual curiosity—you're genuinely interested in understanding customer behavior and business context; you ask "why" questions about the tests we run

Preferred Experience

• 2-3+ years in digital marketing, web optimization, experimentation, or related analytics roles
• Experience with B2B SaaS or e-commerce testing scenarios as plus
• Familiarity with analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.)
• Experience working with agile teams and methodologies
• Exposure to audience activation platforms (Adobe Audience Manager, DMPs, etc.)
• Interest in how AI and automation can enhance testing and optimization work

Personal Qualities

• Energetic and forward-thinking; comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities
• Collaborative mindset; you thrive working with diverse teams toward shared goals
• Growth-oriented; you're eager to develop deeper expertise in optimization and digital strategy
• Embraces change and is energized by new ideas and technologies
