Responsibilities
Perform initial triage, troubleshooting, and execution of recovery actions for network incidents; Manage logical switching, routing, DFW, Edge services, NAT, and load balancing in NSX; Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks including VLANs, TCP/IP, ARP, DNS, DHCP; Work with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, static routing); Support and troubleshoot firewall technologies (physical and virtual); Support network performance tuning, capacity planning, and monitoring; Handle incidents, problems, and change management following ITIL practices; Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures; Support 24x7 operations as part of an On-Call or shift-based support model; Coordinate with application, system, security, and operations teams during incidents and outages; Ensure network security compliance and enforce best practices; Assist with security audits, vulnerability remediation, and policy enforcement
