Responsibilities
Partner Engineering Capability leaders to support planning, forecasting, performance management and strategic decision-making; Establish governance and early-warning mechanisms to ensure risks, opportunities and key decisions are identified and escalated appropriately; Lead the development and delivery of engineering capital investment, business cases and strategic initiatives; Drive affordability, productivity, and efficiency opportunities through to implementation and benefit realisation; Lead changes to cost rates, charging methodologies and other key financial processes; Coordinate complex cross-functional activities across Engineering, Finance and divisional stakeholders, driving actions to closure; Support portfolio reviews and investment governance forums, providing clear analysis and recommendations; Act as the Finance Business Partner for Test & Experimental Engineering, leading forecasting, investment planning and risk and opportunity management across a £200m+ annual spend portfolio.
