Responsibilities
Perform detailed fluid flow analyses of gas turbine engine systems using 1-D network analysis; Perform heat transfer and CFD analyses of subsystems; Support resolution of system-level issues by interfacing with Engine Performance and other design organizations; Provide technical support to product design and support teams; Contribute to defining and completing technical work packages to meet customer requirements; Support engine development testing through analysis or on-site test planning, monitoring, and data reduction; Prepare and deliver analysis results in design reviews; Provide direction in diagnosis of thermofluid system problems and develop new approaches to the process.
