Promote excellent customer relations and resolve issues; take customer orders and create finished products; ensure fresh quality merchandise and minimize product losses; assist Produce Manager with merchandising, ad execution, and associate engagement; develop and implement merchandising plans to meet financial goals; oversee department inventories and track sales reports; manage inventory levels and review orders; check and verify department deliveries and invoices; control department expenses and labor costs; maintain backroom organization and product storage; unpack, clean, trim, and stock produce; build attractive displays; maintain general sanitation and follow cleaning schedules; assist with baling cardboard if trained; cooperate with co-workers and superiors; assist in other departments as needed; supervise all associates within the department and may oversee the Floral department in select stores.
