Promote excellent customer relations by greeting customers and resolving issues; take customer orders and create finished products; ensure fresh quality merchandise through proper handling and rotation; assist Produce Manager with merchandising, ad execution, and associate engagement; develop and implement merchandising plans to meet financial goals; oversee department inventories and track sales reports; manage inventory levels and review orders to meet demand; check and verify department deliveries and invoices; control department expenses and reduce losses; maintain backroom organization and product storage; unpack, clean, trim, and stock produce; build attractive displays and maintain salad bars; ensure general sanitation and follow cleaning schedules; assist with baling cardboard and other related duties; supervise department associates and oversee the Floral department in select stores.
