Provide 24/7 trauma and emergency general surgery coverage; Evaluate and manage trauma activations and emergency surgical consultations; Perform operative and non-operative management of trauma and acute surgical conditions; Provide inpatient management for ACS patients from admission through discharge; Participate in development and medical oversight of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU); Lead multidisciplinary ICU rounds; Mentor APPs, residents, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals; Support trauma program readiness efforts associated with Level II Trauma Center designation.
