Research Scientist, 3D Computer Vision

## Responsibilities - Research, design and implement novel techniques for 3D computer vision, including pose estimation and localization. - Publish original research. - Mentor PhD students and interns. - Collaborate with other teams and uncover research needs within NVIDIA. - Collaborate with external researchers. ## Requirements - Must hold a Ph.D. in, e.g., Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics. Indicate expected graduation if you still have not defended your thesis. - 1+ years of experience - Excellent knowledge of theory and practice of computer vision methods, as well as deep learning. - Excellent programming skills in some rapid prototyping environment such as Python; C++ and parallel programming (e.g., CUDA) is a plus. - Knowledge of common machine learning frameworks, such as PyTorch. - Outstanding research track record. - Outstanding publication record in computer vision, regularly published at top venues CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR. - Excellent communications skills. - Good knowledge of version control systems, e.g., git. ## Nice to Have - C++ and parallel programming (e.g., CUDA) - Knowledge of common machine learning frameworks, such as PyTorch ## Benefits NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world's most desirable employers.
