Responsibilities
Undertake planned routine maintenance and maintain schedules ensuring safe and efficient equipment operation, fault find on electrical and mechanical systems, design systems and develop to implementation, create MOCs and manage through QMS, create design of experiments to improve processes, ensure safe work practices and report near misses, keep maintenance areas clean and secure, adhere to routine maintenance schedules, address breakdowns to minimize production loss, participate in A3 problem solving activities, analyze equipment redesign to improve processes, plan and implement engineering improvement projects, advise management on major repair needs, highlight areas for procedural changes, strip down and reassemble production equipment, perform machine set-ups and changeovers, complete documentation such as tooling logs and PPM sheets, assist in training colleagues, use workshop equipment to manufacture piece parts, assist with trials and new product introductions
