Responsibilities
Author, validate, and authorize technical solutions, repair drawings, and troubleshooting steps for cabin and cargo systems; Secure compliance with Aircraft Safety and continuous Airworthiness standards; Define and authorize temporary aircraft definitions via special instructions; Provide hands-on engineering support directly to the shop floor during assembly and flight line activities; Act as a critical interface between Chief Engineering/Design Office and local Manufacturing execution; Present technical explanations and corrective action summaries to the Flight Test Department and support delivery negotiations; Launch and monitor engineering improvements to eliminate recurring build defects; Provide engineering backup for broader cabin systems including audio-video, water/waste, fire extinguishing, and communication tools; Provide peer mentoring and technical guidance to new team members
