Responsibilities
Create, validate, approve, and monitor design and engineering corrective actions for physical installation non-conformities across the full airframe perimeter; Author and authorize technical solutions and justification reports for repairs, rework, or troubleshooting instructions within the ESI and MSI perimeters; Secure compliance with Aircraft Safety and continuous Airworthiness standards; Act as a critical functional interface between Chief Engineering, local Manufacturing execution, and Quality Assurance departments; Liaise with Airbus Americas and European engineering departments to harmonize local operations with global ways of working; Document lessons learned and feed technical solutions into the MSI/ESI repository; Provide comprehensive installation engineering support directly to the shop floor during assembly, equipment installation, flight line and delivery activities; Define work solutions for manufacture and provide relevant input to design to minimize recurring defects
