Assist in planning and implementing City-wide technology strategies; plan, organize, and direct day-to-day operations of the business technology unit; oversee preparation of departmental business plans and budgets; create and update the Citywide Technology Strategy; provide direction for achieving Strategic Plan goals; examine strategic business goals and direct long-range planning; facilitate study of innovative technologies; coordinate examination and development of innovative business models; administer enterprise architecture and alignment with departmental operating models; work with CIO and other departments to implement cost-effective processes; oversee technology evaluation and selection activities; analyze future opportunities and risks; conduct long-range planning and project prioritization; develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
