Evaluate 3D models and engineering drawings for manufacturability; Develop detailed manufacturing process flows for new product; Validate process parameters and control plans; Run First Article Inspections (FAIs) and Process Capability (CP/CPK) studies; Design or specify jigs, fixtures, and tooling required for forming, welding, or assembly; Coordinate with suppliers for outsourced fixture fabrication; Develop & maintain work instructions, Product BOM & Routing, internal redline drawing, welding documents; Identify potential risks in the introduction of new products and implement mitigation plans; Support pilot builds, identify issues, and drive root cause analysis for any quality or process failures; Suggest improvements to reduce complexity, cost, or cycle time.
