Define and execute global category sourcing strategies for IGBTs, capacitors, SCRs, thyristors, displays, and fuses; Lead global RFQ/RFP processes and conduct cost benchmarking; Develop and maintain long-term agreements with key suppliers; Manage supplier qualification and onboarding; Analyse global spend and market dynamics to mitigate supply risk; Drive year-over-year cost savings through volume consolidation and design-to-cost; Collaborate with Engineering and NPI teams to influence component selection; Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle; Report category performance to senior management; Support global sites in executing local procurement aligned with global strategy; Ensure compliance with trade regulations and supplier sustainability standards.
