Looking for an opportunity to step into a leadership role and help a high performing local newsroom tell stories across southwestern Ontario? CBC London is hiring a multiplatform producer with journalism experience to contribute to the successful operation of the newsroom in the afternoon and evening, which includes overseeing the regional radio program Afternoon Drive.
Reporting to the executive producer, you work with reporters and hosts to ensure the biggest stories of the day are reflected across platforms. You put yourself in the audience’s shoes and you’re constantly asking what they need and where they’re looking for it. You understand how to program for a live daily audio show with an ear and an eye for content that can be repurposed across platforms.
