Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive services to IRC clients enrolling in Refugee Cash Assistance, Refugee Medical Services, and Refuge Health Screening; Review applications for accuracy and make eligibility determinations; Conduct monthly redetermination meetings to track participation in employment services; Prepare enrollment packages including Enrollment Letter and Insurance Card; Conduct RMA orientation to benefits and local health systems; Provide support to recipients with billing issues and provider verification; Collaborate with KSOR and health clinic staff to coordinate refugee health screenings; Ensure understanding of changes to TANF, SNAP, KanCare, and Medicaid policies; Recruit, train, and manage team in accordance with IRC's People Manager Standards; Guide implementation of the PIR program and ensure core services are completed timely; Coordinate timely pre- and post-arrival services including airport pick up, housing, food, and medical care; Oversee intake services to assess client needs; Monitor program execution to ensure compliance with funding requirements; Use personal vehicle and/or public transportation to travel and transport clients and materials throughout the service delivery area.
