Responsibilities
Lead development and continuous improvement of warehouse and transportation services; Manage shipping and receiving operations aligned with business objectives; Provide leadership and performance oversight for shipping/receiving personnel; Design and maintain effective warehouse layouts and material-flow processes; Oversee stock control and inventory reconciliation; Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing products for quality and quantity; Plan and coordinate transportation activities (LTL, flatbed, FTL, multi-stop); Evaluate and negotiate freight rates and contracts with carriers and 3PLs; Monitor carrier and 3PL performance and address service failures; Maintain reporting tools for KPIs including inventory control, labor utilization, and freight cost; Ensure compliance with warehousing, material-handling, and regulatory requirements; Maintain health, safety, and security standards throughout the operation.
