Responsibilities
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals. Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of balance sheet and income statement reporting. Manage accounts receivable activities including customer invoicing, collections support, and cash application. Oversee payroll processes ensuring accuracy and compliance. Oversee accounts payable activities ensuring timely payments and vouchering. Support inventory and cost accounting functions including cycle count analysis and manufacturing cost reporting. Prepare reports for corporate reporting requirements and internal management requests. Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and gathering documentation. Maintain compliance with internal controls and corporate accounting standards. Handle tax compliance items including validating tax exemption certificates and filing 1099 forms.
