Responsibilities
Lead design and production of HVAC engineering deliverables including drawings, specifications, calculations, and equipment selections; Perform heating and cooling load calculations, ventilation analyses, and system performance evaluations; Select and specify HVAC equipment including air handling units, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems; Coordinate HVAC system layouts with plumbing, structural, architectural, electrical, and controls disciplines; Lead construction administration activities including shop drawing review, RFI response, site visits, and commissioning support; Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to develop high-performing HVAC solutions; Apply engineering judgment to resolve complex design challenges balancing comfort, energy efficiency, and lifecycle costs
