Overview:

Sentara Health is seeking a full time, day shift Senior Gift Shop Clerk for Sentara Virginia Beach General hospital in Virginia Beach, VA.

Overview 

The Senior Clerk is responsible for managing the overall operation of the SVBGH Auxiliary Gift Shop, collaborating with the Gift Shop Committee to set goals, coordinate volunteer staffing, and ensure proper training and staffing levels. Financial duties include preparing daily deposit records and monthly profit and loss reports. The role also involves merchandising responsibilities such as purchasing appropriate merchandise, maintaining pricing and inventory, marketing, and creative product display. Candidates must have retail experience, customer service skills, and computer proficiency. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position reporting to the Guest Services Manager, Auxiliary Board, and Gift Shop Chair.

• High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)

Experience

• 3 years of previous sales experience (Required)
