The role of an academic in the SP Outstanding Talent (SPOT) team is dynamic and deeply rewarding. We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing young leaders and thrives on leading student programmes and events that create transformative learning experiences. The successful candidate will enjoy balancing teaching with the planning and execution of programmes for students.
From organising workshops, to dialogue sessions to one of SP’s flagship events involving students, educators and ASEAN partners, this role requires someone who can confidently oversee concurrent projects during the academic term while maintaining attention to detail.

[What you will be working on]

• Take ownership of the planning and successful delivery of one of SP’s flagship student leadership events involving ASEAN delegates, working closely with students, educators and external partners.
• Contribute to SPOT leadership and talent development programmes.
• Mentor and coach high-potential students.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver seamless student experiences.
• Deliver engaging lessons.
• Chaperone students at overseas events.

[What we are looking for]

• Passionate about developing young leaders.
• Experience planning and delivering complex student leadership programmes, or large-scale events involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong project management and ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Highly organised and meticulous.
• Calm under pressure and effective problem-solving skills.
• Clear, confident and empathetic communicator.
• Adaptable, resilient and collaborative.
• Passionate about teaching and mentoring.
• Knowledge of ACI (advantage).
• Digital tools and social media desirable.

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
