Responsibilities
Operate independently to conduct hydrographic surveys in compliance with IHO S-44 standards; Operate, calibrate and maintain state-of-the-art hydrographic equipment; Inform navigational safety decisions using hydrographic survey data; Process and provide quality assurance for survey data; Prepare survey reports; Explore, assess and adopt new technologies to support hydrographic surveys; Procurement of hydrographic survey equipment and services; Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including management of vendors; Perform administrative roles such as notes taking, as well as the development/revision of SOP and ISO documents.
