Responsibilities
Perform monthly/quarterly/annual investment accounting (journal entries, reconciliations, roll-forwards); Support accounting for fixed-income securities, equities, and investment income; Prepare NAIC statutory and IFRS reporting schedules; Support operational accounting (premiums, claims, reserves, intercompany); Analyze general ledger balances and resolve differences; Partner with Investment, Treasury, Actuarial, and Operations teams; Assist with internal/external audits and regulatory examinations; Maintain internal controls and contribute to automation/data-quality initiatives; Research accounting issues and assess impact of new guidance; Perform monthly lease accounting reporting; Participate in Finance projects and system implementations.
