Lead mechanical design activities for enclosures, chassis, structural elements, cable routing, and related assemblies; Own critical mechanical deliverables including design proposals, tolerance analysis, structural studies, drawing completeness, and release readiness; Drive mechanical issue investigation and root cause analysis during prototype builds, validation, and manufacturing ramp; Provide technical leadership in design reviews and ensure alignment of mechanical solutions with system architecture, thermal needs, and customer requirements; Partner with suppliers, operations, and manufacturing teams to improve design for manufacturability, quality, cost, and schedule performance; Support packaging, reliability, and physical integration concerns and drive closure of cross-functional product risks; Mentor junior engineers and contribute to method development, reuse strategies, and engineering best practices within the mechanical function
