Responsibilities
Create and maintain 3D part and assembly models, large assemblies, detailed 2D drawings, specifications, and BOMs for mechanical and electromechanical systems; Apply GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and packaging constraints to ensure dimensional accuracy; Drive Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, and Test (DFM/DFA/DFT) in collaboration with manufacturing engineering, tooling teams, and suppliers; Manage design release and configuration control through established ECR/ECN processes; Support Design Validation (DV) and Production Validation (PV) activities by reviewing test results and implementing corrective and preventive design actions; Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, CAE, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and supplier teams to resolve technical, production, and launch issues; Apply prototyping techniques to develop and evaluate physical prototypes for design validation and testing.
