Act as single point of contact for product platform core HW architecture; Align platform HW architecture to customer RFQs to attain 70% re-use; Initiate and fully develop platform definition during advanced development and pilot phases; Develop and maintain core HW architecture work products including schematics and floorplans; Evaluate and minimize platform deviations from core architecture; Coordinate building block level ownership with advanced engineering and global teams; Collaborate with System architect and SW to ensure HW design fits SW needs; Work with manufacturing engineering to ensure design consistency with BOP; Provide expert technical support and drive corrective actions for customer problems.
