Responsibilities
Develop new production processes for assembly, calibration, and testing; Define specifications for production equipment; Participate in global new product development teams; Collaborate on process specifications and quality aspects; Influence product designs for economical and defect-free manufacture; Organize sample lines and process development equipment; Coordinate functional requirements and equipment debugging; Transfer knowledge to site personnel; Support improvement projects to reduce cycle time and costs; Work with suppliers to ensure process capability and delivery; Evaluate technical capabilities including tooling and automation; Support APQP deliverables (PFD, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, PPAP); Develop and qualify high-performance test systems; Ensure processes meet AS9100 requirements; Serve as process engineering lead on NPD programs; Provide DFM/DFA feedback; Drive manufacturing readiness from NBO through SOP.
